On Wednesday, the Geopolitics and Security Studies Center hosted the discussion “Navigating a Disordered World” featuring Dr. Alan Dupont AO, one of Australia’s best-known strategists and an internationally recognised expert on geopolitical risk with a particular focus on the Indo-Pacific and the intersection of defence, foreign policy, business and technology, as well as Founder and CEO of Cognoscenti Group, and Glenn Barry, a former Australian diplomat and strategic analyst with more than three decades of experience in foreign policy and international security, including extensive expertise on the Indo-Pacific and nuclear weapons non-proliferation, currently serving as Senior Associate at Cognoscenti Group.
The discussion was moderated by Dr. Simona Merkinaitė, Senior Area Manager at GSSC.
The discussion explored developments reshaping today’s international security and economic environment and their implications for both Europe and the Indo-Pacific. Participants also reflected on evolving geopolitical dynamics, regional security challenges, and the importance of international cooperation in an increasingly complex global landscape.
