On 21 October 2025, the Geopolitics and Security Studies Center hosted a discussion titled “Is Russia’s Economy a Paper Tiger?”
The event featured Marius Skuodis, Member of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, Vilė Urbonienė, Head of the International Relations Division at the Bank of Lithuania, and Vytenis Čipinys, Economic Policy Analysis Coordinator in the International Relations Division of the Bank of Lithuania. The discussion was moderated by the Centre’s Senior Policy Analyst, Vladimiras Laučius.
Vytenis Čipinys presented an in-depth Bank of Lithuania analysis on the state and trends of the Russian economy, which was followed by an open discussion with the audience.
