The Geopolitics and Security Studies Center, in cooperation with the Embassy of Canada to Lithuania, hosted a discussion titled “The Arctic in a Changing International Environment: New Threats and Challenges.”
The discussion brought together Dr. P. Whitney Lackenbauer, Lead of the North American and Arctic Defence and Security Network (NAADSN), and Ranj Pillai, Co-Lead of NAADSN and former Premier of Yukon, Canada.
Moderated by Vytautas Leškevičius, GSSC Chief Foreign Policy Advisor, the conversation explored the evolving security environment in the Arctic, emerging geopolitical challenges, and the region’s growing importance for international security.
