The Geopolitics and Security Studies Center is launching a year-long project on democratic resilience and China-related influence in the Baltic States.
Building on GSSC’s Eurasia Programme, the project will bring together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Taiwan for research, policy discussions and exchanges of experience. It will examine how external influence, information challenges and broader geopolitical competition affect democratic societies and regional security.
The aim is to deepen understanding of developments in all three Baltic States, compare relevant experiences from Europe and the Indo-Pacific, and identify practical ways to strengthen institutional preparedness, public awareness and democratic resilience. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania.
