GSSC Director Linas Kojala participated in the high-level international conference “Conference on EU Support to the Western Balkans”, organised by the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, which focused on the European Union’s support for the Western Balkans.
During the conference’s second session, “Implementation of the Reform and Growth Facility for the Western Balkans,” Linas Kojala joined representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission in a discussion on the implementation of the Reform and Growth Facility and the prospects for the Western Balkans’ integration into the European Union. The conference brought together representatives of the European Parliament, the European Commission, international financial institutions, EU Member States, and the Western Balkan countries.
In his remarks, Linas Kojala focused on EU enlargement—one of the priorities of Lithuania’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
